Everyone wants to be #1...but we really are! Isleifson Equestrian is based in Lethbridge Ab and staffed with dedicated, certified and insured professionals who know how to get the results you want. Our rider development program is suitable for the very first beginner rider all the way to the advanced competitor.

Riding Lessons

From the very first time holding your hand out and feeling the horse's muzzle blowing softly onto your outstretched fingers to crossing through the finish timers after jumping the biggest course of your life, Isleifson Equestrian can make it happen.

Introduction to Riding

Beginner Lessons

Our beginner riding lessons start with getting the new rider and support people comfortable being around a horse. Safety is our number one concern. It's encouraged new riders come to the barn to have a personal tour as well as watch a lesson in progress. This will give an idea of what to expect as the beginner rider enters this amazing chapter of their lives.

Prepping for Horse Shows

Intermediate Lessons

Our Intermediate riders are able to effectively and efficiently ride their horse outside of the lesson program. These riders are also prepping for their first horse shows should they choose to show. Isleifson Equestrian supports both local and A rated events where our riders have the ability to test personal skills learned through lessons in a judged environment.

Advanced Lessons

All advanced riders at Isleifson Equestrian have mileage in the show ring, are able to describe both short and long term riding goals and can make educated decisions related to their mount. Most riders at this level own their own horse, however there are advanced lease horses available. The goal of Isleifson Equestrian is for all riders to reach this level of riding.

Tango

Available for Half lease

Tango is a 10 year old gelding who's shown in the hunter/jumper ring. Currently Tango already has a half lease but is looking for another beginner or intermediate rider.

Charlie

Available for part lease

Charlie is a 14 year old QH/Paint cross with the most stunning blue eyes! Very beginner lesson friendly, Charlie will build your confidence in the saddle and get you ready for your next mount.

Roman Nite

Available for half lease

Roman is 10 year old TB/Freisen cross suited for an intermediate rider. With miles in the jumper ring, Roman is an excellent choice for someone wanting to lease a horse with the potential to show.

Pretty In Pink

Timber as she's know in the barn is a beginner friendly pony standing 14.2. At eight years old, Timber has a long career in front of her. She has miles in the hunter and jumper ring at both local shows and A rated shows where the judges love her.
